Pictures Slideshow Maker is an application that enables you to create slideshows using your photos or images. The program offers two modes: Standard (intended for advanced users) and Wizard (which guides you through the steps of the process). The program has a simple and not very attractive user interface, which looks rather old.
Once you've added your photos, you can customize the background color or choose an image, but it doesn't include templates or cliparts. You can add music and captions to your slideshow in the next steps. You can also synchronize your slides with the music and add transition effects. Finally, you select the output format: video file, executable file, screensaver, screensaver installation, or burn autorun CD.
In short, Pictures Slideshow Maker is just another program for creating slideshows which includes a great variety of output formats, but the user interface leaves a lot to be desired. Besides, it lacks some options included in other similar programs, which makes it inferior. |
